Still the Gold Standard for Leg Veins

Sclerotherapy is a proven treatment to improve the unwanted appearance of "spider veins", small superficial blood vessels that appear red or blue in the skin. Sclerotherapy involves the injection of special solutions into them, which results in their disappearance over a two to six month period. Although we may use lasers to treat leg "spider veins", sclerotherapy is still considered the gold standard of treatment.
